Gary Rotman – VP Channel Sales

25 years of experience in retail distribution in the timepiece industry, specifically timepieces with voice applications, RCCs (Radio Controlled Chips), GPS applications, LEDs and more. Gary oversaw development, manufacturing, packaging, sales, marketing, and logistics of the current product.

Eugene Loch Chief Architect

Eugene Loch, BSME, MS (Tufts University), is the Chief Architect at Life Assist Technologies.  He has over 30 years of experience, and has produced 6 world-class products and consulted on the architecture of numerous software projects.  Over this career his work can be found across multiple industries including financial analysis (Lumen Advisors), computer-aided-design (Autodesk), pre-press and consumer imaging (Island Graphics, Polaroid, Sony), banking and finance (Wells Fargo, Ameriquest), pharmaceuticals (Berlex), energy (Enron), manufacturing automation (Mitsubishi), transportation (Infotek), emergency response (Corybant), electro-acoustics (Listen), entertainment (Ullu TV) and advertising (Spark Online).  The solutions he had developed range from cloud-based applications to the desktop, and down to embedded devices.

Having been the primary caregiver to his mother for over 20 years, Eugene is fully aware of the challenges and pitfalls this role presents, and applies this experience towards engineering a product that can help solve these problems.

Michelle Jeong – VP Marketing

A serial entrepreneur with over 15 years experience in business strategy and marketing, Michelle has launched multiple start-ups in tech as well as beauty/wellness. Michelle is part of the Sandwich Generation - a Mom of two active young girls and a caregiver to her two parents. She has a MBA-Dartmouth; MA-Johns Hopkins; BA-UC Berkeley.


Catherine Carhart – VP Product

While caring for her mother, Catherine Carhart wrote an early version of the Circura software to help manage the details of her daily care.

Catherine has 30 years of experience in software development and IT management, most recently in the Energy Efficiency industry, where she was on the executive team of an Inc. 500 fastest-growing company, now owned by General Atlantic. There, she managed the development and deployment of over 30 software and data analytics systems to track energy savings for over 200 programs for Energy Utilities across the country.  

She has had three successful startup exits, most notably selling her first company to Apple Computer, and two fabulous kids. Catherine has a BA in Economics from Oberlin College.


John Erikson – Senior Systems Engineer

Wrote the technical aspects of LATS utility patent, and is designing the connected version of Rosie, manages the development for the device. John has worked as a contract Systems Engineer with 10 high-tech companies since 1984.


Cheryl Shelmadine, Ph.D. – Senior Project Manager

Cheryl is a passionate entrepreneur and a founding member of Kaiser’s Patient and Family Care Advisory Board. She holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from UC Berkeley  in conjunction with the Haas School of Business. Her research concentrates on the impact of enterprise technology solutions.


Taisun Wong -  China Production Manager

Based in HK, Taisum has 25 years experience in the timepiece and electronic device industry
